Vacuum breather fabric is a specialized functional material designed for vacuum-assisted molding processes (such as vacuum infusion, RTM, etc.). It is typically composed of multi-layered polyester fibers or non-woven composites. Its core function is to evenly distribute vacuum pressure through its breathable structure during resin curing, eliminating air bubbles and excess resin to ensure thorough fiber wetting and minimize defects.
Breather Cloth can be used as a bleeder cloth. Resin can bleed from the laminate and be absorbed into the Breather Cloth. Breather Cloth can be used as a bleeder cloth at any pressure and is simply discarded after the vacuum bagging process.
